Accessories
Simple cage accessories (and accessories) such as:
- Food bowl, one that cannot be knocked over easily
- Water bottle, outside of the cage so a chinchilla will not chew it
- Wheel, is optional if you let your chinchilla out for more then the required time a day (2-3 hours)
- Hiding place, somewhere for a chinchilla to go when startled or scared, a place to feel safe
- Dust bath/Dust bath home, A place for your chinchilla to absorb the NEEDED dust bath minerals to keep it's fur fine (To find more about the dust bath see: Health)
- Chew toys/toys, Many toys to keep them interested, and toys to wear down their teeth
Please be sure you have all these needed accessories. It leads to a happy and healthy chinchillla!
